Horrible smell in new formula..

We have purchased ZD for years and it has been great for our dog. The last bag we purchased smells HORRIBLE. It smells rank and fills our room with a sour, foul smell. Our dog will eat it but we can't hardly stand the smell it leaves behind. We will be switching foods, unfortunately. I hate it because our dog did SO well with the old formula. PLEASE bring back the old formula!

Last week I purchased a bag of ZD. I opened it and it stunk. Saw crushed pecan shells in the ingredients now. My dog has been on it for 7 months and doing ok. Called my vet and advised new formula. Explained it stunk and my dog is not readily wanting it as before. Returning it to my vet and looking into other brands that are comparable. She said many clients are complaining too. Such a shame you messed with a mixture that was great. Shame on you for not letting us know.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This product seems to have almost cleared up my dog Leonard's repetitive hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. He has had two very small episodes of blood in his stool since he started the Z/D and NO vomiting (which is a miracle). am hopeful that these will resolve over time.

Changed the formula; Looks molded upon Opening

They changed the formula and it looks molded upon opening. The consistency is different. Everyone is complaining and they refuse to allow consumers to opt for the original flavor. I was receiving the $75 cans monthly and noticed the change immediately. I thought that Chewy messed up my order. I started feeding my dog chicken and broth. Its so frustrating how they can do this and not provide us with the option to have the original formula. Clearly dogs arent happy but they state its better... How?!
