At Hill’s Pet Nutrition, we firmly believe in the power of science-led nutrition for optimal pet health. With this principle in mind, we advocate for pet-centric shopping experiences, ensuring that Pet Parents have access to our brands through reputable channels such as veterinary clinics, Pure-Play Online Shops and Pet Specialty retail stores.

To uphold our commitment to providing high-quality nutrition to pets, Hill’s Science Diet has established an "Authorized Seller Policy." This policy outlines the criteria that must be met by retailers to sell Hill’s Science Diet Products. These criteria include, but are not limited to:

• Licensed veterinary practices
• Mobile or sole proprietor licensed veterinarians
• Veterinary colleges that have an on-site licensed veterinary practice
• Pet Specialty retailers, which are stores specializing in pet food, supplies and services that provide an engaging, pet-focused experience for Pet Parents (defined below) and their pets, including through the offering of pet-related education (on-shelf and through store associates), allowing pets to shop with Pet Parents in the store, and on-site services such as grooming, boarding, pet training, veterinary care and/or pharmacy services, and which may also operate an online retail website (in accordance with the Online Sales Conditions for Hill’s Science Diet & Hill’s Treats attached as Exhibit A) (“Pet Specialty Stores”)
• Stores specializing in farm animal feed and seed that sell comparable national premium, science-based pet food brands not sold in mass & grocery retailer brick-and-mortar locations and allow pets to shop with Pet Parents in the store
• Pure-play Online Retailers (in accordance with the Online Sales Conditions for Hill’s Science Diet & Hill’s Treats attached as Exhibit A); “Pure-play Online Retailers” are retailers whose sales come predominantly from online channels. Those Pure-play retailers with brick and mortar locations under the same brand that make up a de minimis amount of sales are still considered Pure-play Online Retailers
• Animal welfare organizations, or
• Military commissaries and exchanges.
