In our efforts to create a better world for future generations of pets, we make decisions based on three distinct principles:
In our efforts to create a better world for future generations of pets, we make decisions based on three distinct principles:
Trends come and go, but we believe that science should always lead the way, creating food that helps pets live happy, healthy lives.
Innovative pet food takes an understanding of what pets love. That’s why more than 900 dogs and cats ensure that our final products can be enjoyed by pets around the world.
We accept ingredients from high-quality suppliers that meet our strict standards. Each ingredient undergoes a safety check to ensure it meets our nutritional requirements. Our finished products are inspected and tested for key nutrients to ensure consistency and safety.
We’ve introduced two new protein sources to some of our pet foods: wild-caught Alaskan pollock sourced from an MSC-certified sustainable fishery, and fiber-rich insect protein. Both additions are made for a hopeful planet and well-nourished pet.
Our goal is to integrate social, environmental, and ethical practices at every possible step. We consistently strive to improve efficiency with our suppliers to our manufacturing sites.
We work to produce quality pet food at the highest energy and water efficiency possible and minimize waste that reaches landfills or oceans.
Many of Hill’s owned manufacturing sites are certified under the TRUE® program for reducing waste.
That’s the equivalent of 20,991 acres of forest in sequestered carbon over one year.
We reduce truck shipments by optimizing ship sizes, delivery routes and trailer capacities.
