My dog had to have extensive GI surgery. So glad this food is available and she loves it!! So she doesn't realize she is on a restrictive diet.

New lot is soupy, not solid

We have been feeding this to our dog Rocky for some time now. But this last case of cans the first two have been very soupy, not at all like previous lots. The can is marked best before 06 2028 L1222111 133 36778 This is why I have only given one star. The chat directed me to do a review rather than take my complaint.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It is our goal, that with each purchase of your pet’s food, that you will experience the same high quality and consistency. However, normal variations in product can occur as a result of normal variations in ingredients or processing. During the processing of this product, the chunks and gravy are combined before filling the can. The mixture is continually stirred to ensure an even distribution of chunks and gravy for each can of product. On rare occasions there may be an opportunity for settling of the mixture which causes uneven distribution of the food chunks. While a can of food containing limited chunks meets the weight requirements, it would not meet our high quality expectations. We are certainly disappointed to hear of this report and will be passing this information on to our continuous improvement teams.

A Tasty, gentle option for my Yorkie’s sensitive stomach & low fat dietary needs

My Yorkie has a history of pancreatitis and needs to stay on a low fat diet, so finding food that agrees with her stomach is extremely important. Hills I/d has been gentle on her digestion, and she genuinely enjoys the chicken and vegetable stew texture. It gives me peace of mind knowing she can have food she likes while still meeting her dietary needs. It is pricey but for us, keeping her tummy settled makes it worth it.

My dog Spot loves this! Gives me peace of mind that it has all the nutrients he needs and has been vetted by scientists. I can be rest assured that it doesn't have any fillers or additives that may harm him.

At the direction of my veterinarian, we started our 15 year old male English Setter on this food due to his serious digestive problem. He is munching away happily and is doing very well.

So my first impression of the can is that love that it has the pop top. I used it for my Chihuahua. Actually, both of my Chihuahuas. One was diagnosed for pancreatic, um. Her pancreatitis, so she had to go on the. I did, I love that. It does have the pop tops, so if we are traveling, it, we don't have to take a can opener, uh. I would definitely recommend this stew. Over the regular because we did get a couple of cans of the regular. It's not as easy to break. Up, um, we have smaller dogs, so it's easier for our smaller dogs to eat this bread.
