*To be labeled ‘complete & balanced’ the food must meet the nutrient requirements set by AAFCO's Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for a specific life stage (e.g., Growth, Adult Maintenance, etc.). Our rolls have been formulated for Adult Maintenance, ensuring they contain all of the nutrients that the adult dog needs and are present in the appropriate amounts and ratios.

The product is for healthy adult dogs. In general, dogs are considered to be adults at 12 months of age. For larger and giant breed dogs (greater than 55 lbs adult weight), they are considered to be adults closer to 18 months of age. If you are unsure, discuss with your veterinarian.
This food is not recommended for:

  • Puppies
  • Pregnant or nursing dogs
  • Dogs requiring a veterinary therapeutic diet, such as those with renal or cardiac conditions

The product was intentionally designed with a high quality single animal protein and enables pets to consume only one type of animal protein when feeding the fresh rolls. This can be attractive for any healthy adult dog and their human that is seeking a single animal protein ingredient profile.

We perform a complete equipment breakdown, cleaning, sanitation and inspection between proteins to help minimize cross-contamination.

During the manufacturing process, the rolls are filled, ends crimped and then steam-cooked. Our packaging is designed to have the food filled and cooked inside and in adherence with strict quality controls which ensures that once the rolls are filled and sealed, the food is not exposed to any external contaminants. When you open the roll, you can be confident that you are the first to open the sealed packaging since it has been filled and cooked at the manufacturing plant.

These products are not veterinary therapeutic foods, and thus are not specifically designed to help manage health conditions. Healthy pets with sensitive digestive systems may benefit from a highly digestible food. These foods are also formulated with high levels of omega-6 fatty acids and Vitamin E to help support skin and coat health.

The product has a 5 month shelf life from production and if unopened. Refer to the best before date printed along the length of the outer packaging.

The food is perishable and must be kept refrigerated below 40°F / 4°C, do not freeze. Once opened, use within 5 days. Store the opened product in a covered container or sealed plastic bag in the refrigerator.

The food is conveniently ready to eat from the fridge. Our feeding trials have shown that dogs enjoy eating the rolls right from the fridge. We do not recommend heating this food in the microwave as this can cause hot spots, creating a potential burn risk for a dog.

Remember the 2-Hour Rule*: Discard any perishables (foods that can spoil or become contaminated by bacteria if unrefrigerated) left out at room temperature for longer than 2 hours.

When temperatures are above 90° F (32° C), discard food after an hour.
*Per the FDA

These products are fresh, not frozen. No thawing necessary. Just take the roll from the refrigerator and feed immediately. Do not freeze the product as it could change the aesthetics and texture of the roll.

Freezing these rolls can create texture changes. The water within the roll expands when frozen and can create separation and ice crystal formation, resulting in unsatisfactory aesthetics. Our recommendation is to serve them fresh from the fridge. This ensures that the pet receives the best in terms of nutrients, quality and flavor.
