Feeding Guide

Daily Feeding Guide:

Important Feeding Information

  • These amounts are a starting point only. Your cat may need less or more food to maintain proper weight. Adjust as needed. If you are unsure, ask your veterinarian.
  • With your veterinarian's approval, mix increasing amounts of your cat's new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period. Prescription Diet formulas are available in a wide variety of dry foods and treats for your cat's unique needs, and canned foods with delicious flavors your cat will love. Supplementation with other foods or treats is unnecessary and may decrease the effectiveness of the food.
  • When using with dry food, decrease the amount of canned food to avoid overfeeding.
  • Keep fresh water available at all times!
  • For best results, have your veterinarian monitor your cat's condition.
  • To prevent suffocation, keep this plastic bag out of the reach of pets and children.

Hill's is great I give my kitty W/D because he had crystals. He enjoys your food . It has helped with his crystal and also helping to maintain his weight. September 15, 2013
Top Quality Both my cats thoroughly enjoy this product. I started them on this by my vet's recommendation as both were chubby. Now my cats are of healthy weight & as active & healthy as ever. I highly recommend this product. June 29, 2013
my cat gets excited when he sees the bag having a cat that does not need to gain any more weight it is nice to serve him the w/d with chicken. Every morning my cat looks forward to the bowl being filled. He always knows the bag when i bring it home and will rub across the bag several times.I will never serve him another type of food as i know he thoroughly enjoys the w/d dry with chicken. I do not mind spending the money for a quality food as i know he is eating the diet that is best for him. June 12, 2013
W/D Chicken is a favorite I need to feed 2 of my three cats a prescription diet. I am thankful that W/D fits the needs of both cats. My third cat has had a weight issue so the W/D is also a good choice for her. Thanks to Hill's for creating such a high quality line of foods! September 4, 2014
My cats eat only Prescription Diet My cats eat both Feline w/d dry food and either w/d wet foot or c/d wet food depending on the cat. Both cats have eaten Science Diet or Prescription Diet their entire lives. They are 12 and 13 years old and healthy. August 30, 2014
It's working! One of my cats was having soft to lose stool. The vet felt it was a digestive issue and suggested I try different foods. A year later, he was doing well, with occasional stool problems. Then it became worse and worse. At that point the vet recommended this food because it was high in fiber. It has done the trick. It serves double duty, since he is overweight as well. Both of my cats really like this kibble. Also feeding my problem child the wet food, which he loves. The other cat won't eat it, so she gets something else. August 13, 2014
My vet recommended this for my diabetic cat. My cat loves this food! It comes in several sizes for convenience. July 28, 2014
this product has been great other than the price this cat food is great. it has really helped the digestive track of both my cats July 23, 2014
