My Puppy Loves This Food! I recently made an addition to my family; she is a Blue Boston Terrier named Grundy's Blue Ruby, "Ruby." When we got Ruby she was a little under-weight because she was not eating well. After a day or two I noticed that she drank plenty of water, but seemed to be struggling to eat the food provided when we got her. I looked at the food and realized that it was an adult dog food, so I went to PetSmart and picked up Hill's® Science Diet® Puppy Healthy Development Small Bites. When I got home and fed Ruby, she ate all I gave her without any trouble, and then begged for more! It only took about 2 weeks of feeding Ruby the recommended amount of Hill's® Science Diet® Puppy Healthy Development Small Bites for her to gain the weight she needed, and she got an A+ at her healthy puppy check-up. Thank you Science Diet from me, and my Blue Ruby! May 11, 2014
Oakley loves it! We have a 7 month old Bo-Jack (Boston/Jack Russel Mix) She is a very spunky puppy full of energy and always on the Go! We started off with a cheap puppy chow and not only did she hate it but it gave her really bad gas. Since switching to Science diet she absolutely loves it and best of all the bad gas is gone! He Loves It! Max is 8 1/2 months old. The only food he has eaten since we got him 6 months ago is Science Diet® Puppy Small Bites. As a puppy, he eats 2 times per day, a total of 1 1/4 cup daily. He obviously loves it since he normally finishes his bowl in 2-3 minutes EVERY time he eats. More importantly, the vet says he is in perfect health! What more could a pet owner want than both the pet and the vet being satisfied! May 16, 2012
my puppy seems to enjoy her food. wish cost was less my dog really does enjoy the food we give her. I buy the large bag of small bites and I understand that is healthier than other name brand dog foods but I wish the price was cheaper that what I pay October 19, 2014
Puppy won't eat it My puppy has food allergies so it wouldn't be fair for me to truly rate this product. This is the third one we have tried. I bought a big bag of it after my vet recommended it. He ate it the first three days and won't eat it unless I put something else in it. I do think its a bit pricey. November 8, 2014
This product is great! I have a blue healer femal and she has been on Science diet since 10 weeks old. I tried a couple other brands and she was picky and didnt like them and would defecate more while eating the other brands. I switched her to Science Diet and she has a great appetite, looks great, shiny coat and doesnt go to the bathroom as often and just looks super! November 3, 2014
Best Dog Food On The Market! My husband and I have fostered puppies that are waiting to be sent to their new homes for YEARS. Hill's Science Diet is the absolute best dog/puppy food available for several reasons: 1.) Perhaps it costs a little more, but because it is packed with the proper nutrients, the puppies eat less, so the value turns out to be much MORE than any other brand. 2.) It is gentle on the digestive tract; many breeds have sensitive tummies. I have NEVER had an issue with our puppies digesting Science Diet. And as a result of the gentle formula with excellent nutrition, the puppies' eliminations are fewer, smaller, and always solid, making clean up much simpler. 3.) Picky puppies still love the taste of Science Diet. With other brands, they eat a little, and leave the rest. Then they find sticks and bugs in the yard to eat in order to supplement themselves and reduce their hunger. With Science Diet, the bowl is empty before I know it. I don't have to worry about the puppies eating things that they shouldn't. (Example: My shoes.) Thank you Hill's Pet Nutrition! I will not ever go back to any other brand! And I always encourage new pet owners to go with Science Diet! April 8, 2014
Puppy Loves Hill's My puppy was being fed the Hill's Science Diet food at the Cleveland Animal Protective League and they recommended we continue feeding her the same dry food. She loves it! We use it for training in addition to meals because the little kibble bites are small enough that she can have an extra handful without adding too many calories to her diet but still learn her commands, but it's tasty so she has an incentive to listen. She's getting all of the vitamins and nutrients she needs because she's strong, fast, and her fur looks beautiful. We'll be transitioning to the various stages of the dry dog food as she gets older, but we'll definitely continue to purchase Hill's for her. September 11, 2014
