Great for dog through all stages of life! I first was introduced to Science Diet through my vet. My dog enjoys this food very much and I enjoy the fact that it is backed by veterinarians. I want what is best for my dog and I feel he is getting that with this product! May 16, 2012
More pricey, but a much better product for your pet. When I got my puppy he was 5 months old and alittle under weight, her previous owner said she did not eat much, I want to give her the best nutrients, she is now at her target weight and doing great. May 26, 2014
Great food I have 3 adult dogs and recently got a Lab puppy. All of my adult dogs eat SD. SD is the best food out there. I have feed SD to all my dogs even the ones that have passed away. Thank you for making the best dog food. November 10, 2014
Great Product/Great Customer Service During a recent grand re-opening of a Lawn, Garden and Pet Store, we conferred with a gentleman from Science Diet. He had explained that even though some pet foods may have a lot of vitamins and stuff in the food, this may not be good for all dogs. In our situation with our Mastiff mix, his bones are already growing very rapidly. if the food contained too much calcium, his bones would grow even faster and not give his body time to catch up. We had another mastiff mix that was having trouble as he indicated. Sadly, we had lost him last fall. He gave me a free 40lb bag of Large breed puppy food and a bag of treats. The puppy loves the treats. My daughter was working with him getting him to learn sit. He picked it up very quickly because he loves those treats. After eating the Science Diet food, we can see his coat is very thick and healthy looking. Very satisfied with the product and the representatives. February 26, 2014
Amount to feed Wish on the bag of food it would say how many times to feed the puppy and amount per feeding. August 22, 2013
My puppy loves it! My puppy loves this good and chooses the science diet puppy food over any other type of food. October 18, 2014
Importance of Large Breed Puppy Nutrition With the increasing number of musculoskeletal issues in large breed dogs and higher expectations in performance getting these pups started right is key. I recommend Science Diet large breed and my own labrador is on it as well. Nice coat, good growth rate, and he loves the taste. December 19, 2013
This product is excellent in taste and healthy The Science Diet® Puppy Large Breed kibble is the ticket to seventh heaven for our puppy Victoria. Just the sound of us opening the package and scooping good cupfuls of the kibble brings Victoria running from whether she is, sit down, wag her tail, and wait for us to finish serving her. She sits there with this expectant gleam in her eyes, cocking her head to the side, as the aroma of croquettes and the yogurt & Puppy Gourmet Chicken Entrée canned food we mix in fills the kitchen. Victoria is very obedient and waits for us to place the dish on the ground, her tail wagging harder and harder as she tries to sit still. Once we tell her to stand up, she enjoys her meal fully, carefully selecting small chunks of kibble and chewing them slowly, savoring. She takes her time, but does she enjoy it, the steady crunching of the kibble in her mouth a good indication. In the space of 5 minutes, the meal is gone, and she often sits there, looking at us with these eyes that say “Can you give me more, this is good!” We often catch her sniffing behind the pantry door, where the Science Diet chow is stored. Talk about a journey to a healthy paradise! May 17, 2012
