These amounts are a starting point only. Your dog may need less or more food to maintain proper weight. Adjust as needed. If you are unsure, ask your veterinarian.
With your veterinarian's approval, mix increasing amounts of your dog's new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period.
Prescription Diet® formulas are available in a wide variety of dry foods and treats for your dog's unique needs, and canned foods with delicious flavors your dog will love. Supplementation with other foods or treats is unnecessary and may decrease the effectiveness of the food. When using with canned food and treats, decrease the amount of dry food to avoid overfeeding.
Keep fresh water available at all times!
Best if used within 60 days after opening.
For best results, have your veterinarian monitor your dog's condition.

Vet Recommendation-Dogs Love It My vet recommended this dog food for the nutrients to help with my dog's coat. In his opinion, this was the only dog food with enough fatty nutrients. All my dogs love it. January 22, 2013

My 15 year old lab is doing awesome on this food. My dog was having terrible mobility problems. She would limp and stop during our walks because she wanted to go back to the house. She was on Carprofen and Tramadol, which helped a little but not enough. I was considering stem cell therapy, but it turned out she wasnt eligible. I put her on J/D and the results are better than I had hoped for from the stem cell therapy, and so much cheaper. She love to go on walks now, rarely limps, and she often jog's ahead of me. She is happier and in much less pain. I am so grateful for this product, I would have never guessed a food would make such a difference. She's 15 years old and is still a very happy dog. I do still have her taking the Carprofen and Tramadol.. December 2, 2012

My dog is able to move like he never has before ! My dog was diagnosed with hip problems at a very young age. I tried some different mobility diets but I was finally happy when I tried j/d.
