  • Developed by nutritionists and veterinarians to help support your cat's urinary tract health.
  • Contains the right balance of vital nutrients to help improve most lower urinary tract conditions without the need for surgery.
  • Can be fed long term as a way to reduce the recurrence of urinary stones
  • Ideal for multiple cat households
  • Comes in two great tasting flavors: Ocean Fish and Chicken

Feeding Guide

Daily Feeding Guide:

Important Feeding Information

  • These amounts are a starting point only. Your pet may need less or more food to maintain proper weight. Adjust as needed. If you are unsure ask your veterinarian.
  • With your veterinarian's approval, mix increasing amounts of your cat's new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period.
  • Prescription Diet formulas are available in a wide variety of dry foods and treats for your cat's unique needs, and canned foods with delicious flavors your cat will love. Supplementation with other foods or treats is unnecessary and may decrease the effectiveness of the food. When using with canned food and treats, decrease the amount of dry food to avoid overfeeding.
  • Keep fresh water available at all times!
  • For best results, have your veterinarian monitor your cat's condition.
  • To prevent suffocation, keep this plastic bag out of the reach of pets and children.

Healthy Pets, Happy Pet Parents Our three cats have been eating dry C/D since our oldest cat was a kitten and had a medical problem. My middle guy was an SPCA cat and ate whatever they had in stock prior to coming to live with us. He took to the C/D immediately and being a fussy boy who won't even eat a treat, I was happy that the food met his "high standards"!!! I rated it average for value for the money because it is kind of pricy to feed three cats this prescription food but revisiting the vet bill from the medical issue, I might want to change that. December 1, 2013
Product resolved my cat's urinary issues. I actually put both cats on the food...they like it and are both very healthy and happy. It has been worth the extra cost to maintain their health! August 5, 2013
Thank heavens for c/d Our 1 year-old cat was having issues with frequent small voids and peeing in the bathroom sinks and tubs. At first we thought it was behavioral, however when we started seeing blood in his urine we took him immediately to our vet. After an ultrasound showed significant crystals in his bladder he was started on the s/d diet to eliminate the crystals. From there the vet switched him to the c/d diet. Urinary issues resolved completely. At the suggestion of our vet we tried to switch him back over to the regular food we feed our other cat. Within a week Maestro had recurrence of his urinary symptoms. After talking with the doctor Maestro will remain on c/d diet for the long term. It's worth it as he has many good years left. Science Diet Dry CD makes my kitty cat happy! She comes and finds me when it is time to eat and cleans her bowl! September 22, 2014
my cat loves this food My cat has lots of bladder issues and he loves this food. I pair it with the wet food as well. I just wish that they had more coupons out there for it. I spend over $50 a month on cat food and it gets kind of expensive. But if I don't use it he has flare ups and is peeing all over the house. September 19, 2014
Price Continues to rise in price. We are constantly having to search for coupons. :( September 18, 2014
Has stopped the urinary infections After 2 separate vet stays reaching $2400, we changed to this diet and in over a year, my big kitty, Aries, has had no trouble again. Not only has it saved us in vet bills, but knowing my kitty is no longer having to go thru the pain and discomfort of these infections is so much comfort to us! Wish I had changed after the 1st vet bill on this! September 18, 2014
My cats all love this food Our 3-year-old cat developed sudden urinary problems several months ago. I had always fed my cats the popular brands you can buy at discount stores. The vet asked that I change to the urinary CD formula and, since changing brands, our cat has done very well. We buy the cans too, along with the dry food. My vet told us about the recent stress formula that is now available, and as soon as I find that in my area, I am going to purchase that. I really do believe the food has made all the difference for our urinary cat, and am very grateful he is doing better. Thank you for making CD Feline Hills Prescription Diet. Meow! Here is a photo of Twinkie and Sugar Bug (our urinary kitty), best buddies, survivors of the Joplin tornado. September 18, 2014
