Adverse reaction to food.

Food sensitivites and intolerance are potentially serious problems that can result in sensitive or irritated skin, coat and ear conditions or even gastrointestinal upset. Dogs that have a food sensitivities or intolerance, also called adverse reactions to food, typically experience an abnormal response to the protein in the food. If your dog suffers from adverse reaction to food, it is even more important to feed the right food.

At Hill's, nutritionists and veterinarians have developed clinical nutrition especially formulated to help manage your dog's dietary sensitivity and help reduce the possibility of adverse reactions to food.

This food has been great for my dog! My dog loves this food and we also feed him the can Z/D Ultra. When he was a puppy and had so many allergeries and finally found a Vet that put him on this food and it worked for my baby so great! Anything else would just break him out so bad and he was constanstly taking shots for alleregies. Thank you from my little Jake. October 21, 2013
A diet that works! My dog's food allergy symptoms decreased 100% after being switched to this diet. After testing we knew we were dealing with food allergies as well as environmental allergies. This was the easy choice. he loves the food and i do not need to worry he is getting something he will react to. October 19, 2013
This food saved my dogs life! My min pin, Bently, has severe allergies. I tried EVERY prescription diet on the market and only found one that my dog can eat without getting hot spots and itching. That food is hills z/d! He went from looking horrible , thin hair, sores and itching to having a beautiful coat almost overnight. The transformation was amazing! He loves the food also which is a blessing! I am sure I would have had to put my dog down because he was miserable! I am just so thankful hills makes a food for my baby, that he does not react to! Thanks science diet! KIM n BENTLY September 28, 2013
Solved my dogs dry skin issues Happy with the food as it solved a dry skin issue my dog was having. I wish it came it different flavors as she would love that. It's expensive, but worth the price to not have to visit her vet so frequently. April 14, 2014
This food finally gave my dog a chance to heal. Our dog Finnegan suffers from IBS and this dry food along with the canned has given his tummy a chance to heal and he finally eats happily. Before the Z/D we would have to coax him to eat sometimes taking 1/2 or longer because he knew he would feel awful after eatting. Thank you from giving our dog his spirit and happiness back. April 13, 2014
Best dog food on the market. Our dog can only eat this, everything else we have tried effects him negitivly. April 13, 2014
Good nutrition, expensive. Dog love this product, however very expensive to purchase, April 11, 2014
Hill's z/d Ultra Our dog suffers from unknown food and environmental allergies that have affected his skin terribly (hair loss, sores, redness, etc.) We switched him to this food at our vet's recommendation for a 12 week food trial, and at that point we will finally conduct a skin test to determine what exactly he is allergic to. So far his skin has improved significantly, which I think can be attributed to both the food and the meds he is on. He enjoys the food but given the high price point, we will be transitioning him to a more affordable option when we get the vet's OK. April 10, 2014
