Terms and Conditions

Sponsor: Hill's Pet Nutrition, Inc., 400 SW 8th Ave., Topeka, KS 66603.

Eligibility: The Hill’s SuperZoo 2016 Giveaway (the “Give Away”) is open to qualified attendees of the 2016 SuperZoo Conference in Las Vegas, NV (August 2, 2016 through August 4, 2016) who are 18 years of age or older.

Qualified attendees of the SuperZoo event with a valid show badge are eligible to play. The following are not eligible to play: SuperZoo Exhibitors, SuperZoo vendors, including each of their respective employees, families, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize/program suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents are not eligible to play.

Promotion Period: Give Away Period will begin when the SuperZoo Conference officially opens at 9:00 a.m. on August 2, 2016 and will end when the SuperZoo Conference officially ends on August 4, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.

Prizes: The Give Away will award eighteen gift cards; six each day of the conference

• August 2nd – Six gift cards to be given away
• August 3rd – Six gift cards to be given away
• August 4th – Six gift cards to be given away

Total value of all prizes equals $900.

All federal, state, local, and other taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner.

How to Enter: During the Give Away Period, eligible SuperZoo show attendees may enter the Give Away and be eligible for a random drawing of a $50 Gift Card. Chance to win based on number of eligible entries into the Give Away. To enter, visit Sponsor’s Exhibit Booth and complete a Hill’s quiz. No purchase required to enter.

Limit one entry per attendee per the SuperZoo event.

Release: By receipt of any valuable gift from Sponsor in exchange for your participation in the program, you hereby agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize/program suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the program.

General Conditions: By participating in the Program, or any part of the Program, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the prize, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the prize, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any participant it finds to be tampering with the registration process or to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions or any other Give Away or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the program may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by participants; (2) technical failures of any kind (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the registration process or the program; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the program or the processing of registrations; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the program. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.

Except where prohibited, participant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this prize shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court of Kansas or the appropriate Kansas State Court located in Shawnee County, Kansas; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this program, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, or the rights and obligations of the participant and Sponsor in connection with the program, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Kansas, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Kansas or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Kansas.
