This product is a great buy. I have a working 1.5 year old stock dog. I've had trouble keeping weight on her until I tried this food. I went from feeding 6 cups of SD puppy food a day to 2 cups of High Energy a day. I also love that this food contains glucosamine and chondrotin for healthy joints, since my dog is highly active and puts a lot of stress on her joints not only when she is working livestock but while working to keep in condition. AMAZING!! I have a German Shepherd who loves to run and be active. With her energy level, I needed a food that was not only good in quality, offered joint support but also would help her keep weight on. And Science Diet delivered with their High Energy food! She absolutely LOVES the taste so much, I no longer have to coax her into eating by using chicken broth, beef broth, adding cheese, etc. She just eats it plain and simple! I'm very grateful for this food. When I notice she is losing interest in the taste, I just switch it up to Healthy Advantage (great overall wellness that provides oral health, weight management, joint support, digestion help and a beautiful coat) to keep it interesting for her. This food is ideal for very active dogs. My very active lab mix had problems gaining weight on other foods. High energy has given her an ideal body condition without having to feed her a lot of extra food. This reduced the amount of food I feed her and reduces the amount of stool cleanup. May 16, 2012
