Overall Best Cat Food My Cat LOVES this food. I love it for him. He is happy and healthy and his coat is soft and shiny. We have had to purchase other flavors before because the Ocean Fish and Rice was out of stock, but He doesn't like other flavors as much. He doesn't like other brands AT ALL. May 18, 2012
My cats don't ask for food anymore! My cats and I just love Science Diet. They seem to love the taste and it fills them up! I have always thought of supermarket food as takeaway food, burp and you want more, with Science Diet, that doesn't happen! My cats always have a healthy coat and teeth. Their weight is easily maintained too. Eat and drink and away they go! Science is worth the very little extra spend..... add up your normal weekly cat/dog food bills and you would be surprised how affordable Science Diet is. I highly recommend Science Diet and always tell other cat/dog lovers about this fantastic product. May 18, 2012
A food both my cats and me can agree on I have a multi cat household, one being a finnicky eater, so it can get complicated and costly feeding them all. However, when I tried the Optimal Care fish & rice recipe, I was pretty surprised to see that all 3 cats scarfed down their meals! Science Diet does cost a little more than other brands, but following the feeding guide, they actually eat less of this food than other brands to it evens out in Hill's (and my wallet's) favor. Also, the fact that they can all eat 1 type of food is a lot easier to manage. Thanks Hills for this great diet! My cats are happy and they look and feel great. May 17, 2012
This is a great product for my cat. I've been using Science Diet for over 20 years. I had two cats that grew up on Science Diet one was a diabetic who lived to be 20 and the other 19 years old. We now have a 11/2 year and a 3 month old who are eating Science Diet as well. They love the flavor and can't wait until meal time. May 17, 2012
Cat gaining too much weight Even though this is supposed to be a top rated nutritional product, we find our cat has gained some unwanted weight. He is fed once a day and only the amount suggested on the package. He has VERY FEW treats and eats nothing but Hills Science Diet for his regular diet. We're somewhat perplexed at this. If it weren't for the weight gain, we would have given Hills a much higher rating. We'd also like to see a bag that is easier to seal. May 16, 2012
They both love it I have always fed my cats Science Diet food, usually hairball formula. Recently we adopted a new kitty from the Humane Society and they gave us a bag of the Optimal Care. Took her and the food home and my other cat decided she did not like her hairball formula and wanted the optimal. Since then they both eat the Optimal. They are healthy and look great.
