Finally - Relief!!! We spent hundreds of dollars on different brands/kinds of dog food, meds, tests, etc only to determine that our dog had food allergies. She had licked/itched herself raw on spots all over her body. Not only was she in agony, but we cried every time we found a new spot. Our vet finally had us try dry Prescription Diet d/d with venison and her issues cleared up very fast. We had always given her homemade doggie ice cream for her evening treat and she was devastated that she could no longer have this. So we bought a case of the canned food. I spoon out small spoonfuls of the canned food and freeze it and OMG - she goes nuts when I open the freezer door at night. She even goes to the freezer during the day to beg for a small morsel.
