Fantastic for Cats with Food Sensitivities I have a 12yr old cat with Inflammatory Bowel Disease who was having terrible bowel problems and weight loss on high cost/quality and commercial grocery store cat food. After three years of battling IBD and chronic use of high doses of prednisolone he was put on Science Diet prescription Venison & Pea. This suggestion was made by Ohio State Vet School internal medicine and a veterinary (DVM) nutritionist. Within 24 hours of starting canned and dry venison and pea my cat's IBD symptoms stopped. No more vomiting or diarrhea. He is still on prednisolone but we plan to taper his dose now that he is stable. His weight has slowly increased to a healthy level. His coat looks great and his behavior is happy and content. He really likes both the canned and dry food. which is exclusively what he eats now. My two other cats like the canned food, and one of them also likes the dry. One of my other cats is gaining too much weight on the venison diet so he is being supplimented with a different dry food. We couldn't be happier with this product. I'm thankful that a company with Hill's reputation is making such a diversity of foods of meet so many pets' needs. This food has turned my cat's life around. Its somewhat expensive, but its high quality and the cats don't seem to need as much of it as they did less expensive foods.
