I adopted my dog at a shelter when Keaton was an adult dog. When she reached the age of 10 she developed a minor limp due to wear and tear on her bones and joints. This limited her movement which disappointed the whole family. We couldn't bring her on walks anymore around the neighborhood knowing that she'd pay for it the following day. Our vet put her on Prescription Diet® j/d® to help improve her mobility and what an incredible change we have seen. In less than 8 weeks her mobility increased! Her limp has almost all but disappeared and she no longer walks with stiff legs after getting up from sleep or rest. Prescription Diet® j/d® has definitely brought her back to an activity level that she had when she was at half her current age! Thanks for making nutritionally sound pet food that brings our pet back to her youthful lifestyle!

Danny is my doberman- and he has been running with me for many years. We have trained for several marathons together- and at one point in his life he was coming on 20 mile runs. Then as he got older- he still wanted to run- but he would slow down sooner. I stopped running any distance with him- and we would just walk or jog slowly together. Then our vet started him on j/d®. Within 5 weeks I had a different dog. It seemed to happen overnight- one morning we went for a short run- and he just seemed so much more energetic. And after another week or so I noticed his gait became more fluid- and he wanted to chase rabbits again. Now I have an almost eleven year old doberman who runs up to five miles a day with me again- and who races around the back yard with the younger dogs because thanks to j/d® - he doesn't know he's old.

It took him 15 weeks but he did it.Good Boy :)He was still having mobility trouble with his hips and he was started on Hill's® j/d®..Most days it is hard to tell he is 10 1/2. Sedona has been my one constant in life for the last 10+ years. She has always been high energy- the kind of dog no one believed was 10 years old- especially for a golden retriever. Last winter she started moving slower- instead of running to play- she just walked fast. She couldn't jump on the bed or the couch anymore. She became reluctant to play with our other dogs. She finally started laying behind the couch or in the kitchen away from the family. So I decided to try Hill's® j/d®. I started her on the food on her 10th birthday- November 25th 2007. On Christmas, I saw the first jolt of improvement. With the kids all excited and running around, Sedona jumped on my bed for the first time in months. Since then she has done nothing but improve. She is tearing acrossed the house again- playing actively with the other dogs - jumping on and off the bed and couch. I have my beloved dog back to her normal self. I 100% credit Hill's® j/d® to making Sedona comfortable and happy and back to doing the things she loves.

As Millie has advanced in her age her joints obviously became stiffer. Her vet recommended that we change her dog food to j/d® and see if that helped her. Changing her dog food was all we really needed to do. Millie is much more active now (well as active as an old Basset hound is going to get) and she is walking at a much faster rate. I'm so glad that we were able to find a method that would help Millie and not break me financially in the process.

Hello- My name is Daryl and I have a ten year old Rottweiler named Sampson. Sampson- like most Rotty's out there- showed mobility issues early on in his life. When I heard of Hill's® Prescription Diet® j/d® - I admit to being quite skeptical in the beginning, but- I thought- what do I have to lose from just trying?. One month into the feeding trial- it was like a switch turned on inside Sam. I'm not talking just a slight change- I'm talking night and day difference. He was transformed! I was asking myself- Is this the same dog? He was like a puppy again! No longer straining to get up- or stiffness when walking. He was now running and playing! I am a firm believer and advocate of your product now. The proof is in the results and seeing truly is believing. Thank-you for giving my dog his life back.Sincerely- Daryl

We have tried numerous dog foods and finally our vet told us about Prescription Diet® j/d® food. What an amazing transformation! Our English Bulldog had such a hard time getting up and down. As a last resort our vet said to try the J/D formula and see what happened. All I can say is Wow! Gretchen loves the food! Thanks to Prescription Diet® our baby is doing much better.

We adopted Red when he was 7 months old. he had a strange beginning to his life- and then was brought to our door because the neighbors thought we needed a little brother for our Golden Toby. When we got Red (also a Golden) he couldn't even walk a mile (at 7 months!) without a limp. I love to walk my dogs and know how good it is for them so we went to the Vet to find some help. She suggested JD. She stated in about 6 weeks the effects would kick in and we would see a difference. I thought no way- but also thought anything was worth a try for my loving- energetic little boy. It was almost 6 weeks to the day after we started the j/d® (I marked it on the calendar) and Red became a new little pup- running- walking- wrestling with the other dogs in the neighborhd without any limping. He is now 4 and is still on j/d®. Now we live by a lake and the 4 miles around it are easy as can be for him. He even has extra energy to stop and play with his puppy friends along the way. We put our older Golden on it when he turned 5. He is able to get around the lake with no trouble. I never would have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Your dog food is miraculous. I have recommended it too many of my dog loving friends with similar success.

This summer was the worst summer for Sheba. At times she wouldn't even want move. She wasn't interested in food or play. I came back to school and put her and her 10 year old brother- Buster (who was starting to limp on his shoulder) and started feeding the j/d® on September 1- 2008. Six weeks later- Sheba JUMPED over her brother at feeding time. I am amazed. Thank Hill's Pet Nutrition
